Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the ideal swell direction is from the northwest. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights. Good surf at all stages of the tide.

La Magia de Asturias PLAYA DE XAGO
La playa está formada por un arenal de casi 2 km de longitud y por un gran espacio con dunas, que hace que sea incluida en el Paisaje protegido del Cabo Peñas. Es una de las playas más utilizadas en Asturias para la práctica del surf, contando con numerosos rompientes. Debido a la fuerza de las olas, el baño ha de realizarse con precaución.
